In the framework of the 'Value Added Agriculture from Seedling Forest' project, a demonstration garden was established in Abaş village, Emet district, Kütahya, through the planting of Persian walnut saplings. The project initiated by the Emet District Governorship and the Emet District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry involved the planting of Persian walnut saplings supplied by the Emet seedling office in Abaş village for the establishment of a demonstration garden.
Within the project, after one year of planting, a grafting process will be carried out on the walnuts, aiming to bring the seedlings into production and the economy at a low cost. If successful, the implementation will be expanded throughout the district.
