The Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry in Ağrı, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Agricultural Reform, organized a meeting for agricultural production planning.
High-level executives from institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, provincial and district directors, technical staff, and sector representatives attended the meeting. The importance, scope, methods, and objectives of agricultural production planning were discussed during the meeting. Additionally, the current situation, problems, opportunities, and solution proposals for the agricultural sector were deliberated upon. Participants emphasized that agricultural production planning is a tool that will make Turkey's agricultural sector more competitive, efficient, and sustainable. They noted the need for the implementation of agricultural production planning nationwide and regionally. Mehmet Hüseyinoğlu, the Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, thanked the participants at the end of the meeting and stated that efforts would continue to implement agricultural production planning in Ağrı.
