The second crop fresh tea campaign started on June 26, 2024. During this campaign, in which producers entered their tea fields for the second time, ÇAYKUR's tea purchasing stations collected a total of 12,000 tons of tea over a span of 9 days. Some producers, due to the smaller size of the tea leaves caused by climatic conditions, have not yet entered their tea gardens and are waiting for the weekend to begin harvesting.
Meanwhile, the long-awaited increase in dried tea prices by tea producers has been announced. As of today, ÇAYKUR has raised the prices of dried tea by an average of 22%. Consequently, the per-kilogram prices of tea packages on the shelves have begun to change.
