A seminar on climate change and agriculture was held at Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University.
The seminar, titled "Climate Change and Agriculture," was organized as part of the dissemination activities of the "Climate Focused Agricultural Vocational Education (CLIAVE)" project under the European Union Ministry Erasmus+ Program KA220 Vocational Education and Training Partnerships. The seminar was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burçin Atılgan Türkmen, a faculty member of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, who also serves as the project coordinator.
The event, held in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Conference Hall, was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sıddıka Özkaldı Karakuş, academics, and students from the Department of Agricultural Biotechnology at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Agriculture.
During the seminar, discussions focused on energy efficiency in the agricultural sector, planning sustainable development goals for the sector, and the impacts of climate change on agriculture.
