In Çamlıhemşin district of Rize, a seminar on fruit tree planting and horse seed cultivation was organized by the Mekader Association and village headmen of Mekaleskirt. The seminar, attended by Prof. Dr. Turan Yüksek, former Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University (RTEÜ), and horse seed cultivator Emine Eksilmez Terzi, provided valuable insights. Halil Kosanoğlu, the President of Mekader Association, stated that they obtained a total of one thousand fruit saplings including apple, pear, mandarin, and date from Yalova district through Çamlıhemşin Agricultural Chamber. Additionally, they procured 300 horse seeds from their region. After a two-hour seminar conducted by experts in the village, all participants were provided with fruit saplings and horse seeds. Kosanoğlu emphasized the significance of the project academically and socially. The seminar and distribution of fruit saplings saw a significant turnout from various villages in the district, with a total of one thousand fruit saplings and 300 horse seeds distributed among the 300 attendees.
