In Kastamonu, within the framework of the signed protocol, consulting support for soil analysis will be provided, which will include evaluating pasture areas with botanical compositions and determining their productivity levels.
Under the 2024 Agricultural Productivity and Value Addition Technical Support Program, the 'Determination of Soil Properties in Kastamonu Pasture Areas' project, supported by the North Anatolian Development Agency (KUZKA) and managed by the Kastamonu Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, has been contracted. The project contract was signed by Bekir Yücel Tanrıkulu, the Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry of Kastamonu, and Dr. Serkan Genç, Secretary General of the North Anatolian Development Agency.
The consulting support, which will last for 180 days, will involve soil analysis of pastures in Kastamonu's Ihsangazi, Araç, Devrekani, Tosya, Seydiler, Merkez, and Taşköprü districts.
The project supported under this program will provide consulting services for the analysis of 350 soil samples collected from identified pasture areas in Kastamonu. Thus, the goal is to evaluate the pasture areas with botanical compositions and determine their productivity levels.
