The Konya Agriculture Fair, which opened its doors for the 20th time this year, brought together sector representatives in the agriculture industry. The Konya Sugar stands, which included brands within the Konya Sugar umbrella, attracted the attention of guests. The Konya Sugar stands, which garnered significant interest from participants, featured high-quality seeds produced specifically for the region and its climate, aiming to increase productivity in agricultural production and enhance farmer welfare. Alongside seeds prepared under Beta Ziraat A.Ş., equipped with the latest technological products, there were also Panplast Drip Irrigation Systems, which are pasteurized sugar beets produced for the first time in Turkey, as well as BİOVİN products, a liquid organic fertilizer used in fruit, vegetable, field, industrial plants, ornamental plants, and forest trees. Participants had the opportunity to meet with company representatives and gain detailed information about all the products.
TORKU products, lovingly harvested from the fertile lands of Anatolia and carefully processed in our factories, also took their place in the stands. At the fair, TORKU showcased meat and meat products, dairy and dairy beverage products, yogurt and ayran products, cheese, butter, creams, snacks, frozen products, vegetable oil products, beverages, vinegar, and sauces, as well as tomatoes produced through modern greenhouse farming activities.
President Erkoyuncu interacted closely with participants
Ramazan Erkoyuncu, the President of PANKOBİRLİK and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Konya Sugar Beet Growers' Cooperative, answered participants' questions at the Konya Sugar stand. President Erkoyuncu emphasized the importance of agriculture on the country and regional economy, stating that agriculture is not only about food production but also has significant effects in many areas such as increasing employment and supporting rural development.
