Citizens showed great interest after local anchovies were sold for 50 TL on stalls in Zonguldak.
The abundance of anchovy in the sea continues to be reflected on the stalls in Zonguldak. Local anchovy was sold on the stalls today for 50 TL per kilo. The cheap price of anchovy pleased both citizens and tradesmen.
The abundance of anchovy is expected to continue in the coming days. Fisherman Oktay Ertürk said, “There is an abundance of anchovy in Zonguldak right now. The weather was a little harsh last night. The field will be a little empty tomorrow. The prices are affordable, it's the right time for citizens to buy. We waited for bonito, but it did not arrive. If there is plenty of fish, it will be cheap; if there is little fish, it will be expensive. Our hope this year is anchovy and chinakop."
