The situation of the preparations for the 6th Nazilli Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Fair, which will take place between December 16-19 and is included in the domestic fair calendar of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), was evaluated, and the fair schedule is eagerly awaited.
The last meeting before the fair was held at Nazilli Teacher's House and ASO, attended by Nazilli District Governor Sedat Sırrı Arısoy, Nazilli Mayor Kürşat Engin Özcan, Deputy Mayor Ali Ertürk, District Gendarmerie Commander Captain Caner Özkul, District National Education Director İsmail Şimşek, Agriculture and Forestry District Director Sunay Güler, Nazilli Chamber of Commerce President Nuri Aslan, and directors of institutions and organizations.
Stands insufficient for the fair
In the joint decision taken at the last coordination board meeting for the fair: "The 6th Nazilli Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Fair; Ready to host its participants and visitors with a stand area of 3,500 square meters where more than 75 companies will take place, with 6,500 square meters of closed space. Nazilli, one of the leading districts in agriculture and livestock in the Aegean region, has mobilized to ensure that the Nazilli Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Fair, which has become traditional, is among the most successful fairs in its category. In the fair where distinguished companies take place, the stand areas were insufficient, so the side roads around the fair area were closed to traffic and made ready for the use of participating companies. The fair, which will be held between December 16-19, 2023, will have an opening time of 10:00 in the morning and a closing time of 23:00 at night. With this rare practice among fairs, a special application has been made for our farmers to work in their fields and gardens during the day and visit the fair in the evenings. The general categories included in the fair are agricultural machinery and equipment, agricultural services, organic agricultural products, greenhouse and gardening products, and agricultural support technologies. It is stated that the fair, which hosted over 50,000 visitors last year, will continue to gain importance as a fair featuring agricultural and animal products, exceeding this number again this year, and will continue to add value to its region."
