The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry announced that the Turkish Grain Board (TMO) will start purchasing dried apricots from September 3.
The statement from the ministry reads: "To ensure stability in the markets for dried apricots, one of Turkey's most important export products, support producer-friendly policies, address the need for healthy storage facilities, and maintain export value, it has been decided that TMO will purchase dried apricots. TMO’s purchase prices for dried apricots have been set per kilogram based on quality as follows. The purchasing process will be conducted through Electronic Product Certificates (ELÜS) at the licensed warehouse of TMO-TOBB Licensed Warehousing Inc., located at 1st Organized Industrial Zone, 13th Street No: 3, Yeşilyurt/Malatya, starting from September 3, 2024."
