The hazelnut price, which exceeded the 110 TL mark at the beginning of the season, disappointing the expectations of reaching 120 TL levels among Giresun producers, is now fixed at 100 TL just days before the completion of the year 2023.
Abdullah Şahin, the President of Keşap Chamber of Agriculture, stated that with the low yield and the beginning of the season, the prices in the free market, which initially rose above 110 TL, fluctuated between 90-94 TL. He mentioned that the hazelnut price, which started to rise again in the last weeks of November in the free market, continues to maintain stability at 100 TL just days before the New Year.
