As the harvest season is coming to an end in Manisa's Alaşehir district, where the world-famous seedless Sultani grape is grown, farmers have started fertilizing their vineyards for the next harvest season.

In Manisa's Alaşehir district and its surroundings, where vineyard maintenance has begun, rope cutting continues on the vines, and natural animal manure has begun to be used for soil care work. Stating that they have already started working to grow quality grapes, grape producer Hüseyin Gömleksiz said, "In order to grow quality grapes in the desired tonnage, sheep manure is especially preferred in the vineyards. Natural fertilizer can increase the productivity of the soil for at least two years. Therefore, it is both economical and requires less labor.
