Geothermal-heated greenhouse production begins in February

In the greenhouse sector of Erzincan, production in soilless greenhouses with geothermal heating will start in February. The countdown has begun for the first phase of the greenhouses, covering 40 hectares out of a total of 120 hectares. In the 40-hectare greenhouse area established in the Ekşisu region, production will involve soilless agriculture for the first time, and it will also mark the first use of geothermal heating for winter season production in Erzincan. While the company is starting production in the completed section, construction of greenhouses will continue in the remaining area. Erzincan Deputy Governor Yusuf İzci, along with Erzincan Acting Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Saadettin Taşkesen, inspected the greenhouses that are about to start production. Deputy Governor Yusuf İzci, receiving information from company officials, emphasized the significant steps taken in the greenhouse sector in Erzincan.
