'Havza Chamber of Agriculture has gained prominence with its name'

Havza Chamber of Agriculture President Coşkun Genç stated that over the course of 9 years, their chamber has gained prominence in terms of both the service building and equipment and facilities.

Coşkun Genç, who has been serving as the President of Havza Chamber of Agriculture since 2015, evaluated the 9-year period. Genç expressed that over the 9 years, Havza Chamber of Agriculture has become prominent in terms of both the service building and equipment and facilities. He said, "In 2015, along with my colleagues in the board of directors, we took over the duty with the trust of our members. Our first priority after taking office was to renovate the physical environment of our chamber and provide our farmers, who always deserve the best, with a modern appearance. Subsequently, to offer our farmers more quality and efficient services, we activated online transactions in our chamber. We also integrated online transactions into our chamber's accounting. In addition to these, we made the necessary arrangements in our meeting room, pesticide sales section, seed and liquid fertilizer sales, and other units to bring our farmers together with the services they deserve."

Coşkun Genç mentioned their efforts to increase the cultivation areas for grain and fodder corn in the region and for the use of local farmers. "In this context, we established two facilities in our district. First, we set up and put into operation a fodder silage corn packaging facility. Then, to increase the cultivation area of grain corn, which is important for our national economy, we established a corn drying facility and made it available to our farmers. We are working with our board members, along with 3 engineers and 3 staff members in our chamber, to serve our farmers," he said.

President Genç stated, "Our engineers organize visits in line with the demands of our citizens, neighborhood by neighborhood, and no fee is charged for this. From the day we took office until now, with the strength and courage we received from our members, we completed our investments. By doing what was considered impossible, we brought many innovations to our district and members. Currently, with the SMS system we have created, we can reach thousands of farmers simultaneously. Over the course of time, we used the resources of our chamber to create new opportunities. Among the chambers in Samsun, we have become a chamber that prioritizes investment, ranking high in terms of members and resources. Many services offered in Havza are not provided in our other districts. We achieved this success by protecting the rights of our members and making investments with the courage we received from them."
