DB Tarımsal Enerji, investing in improving the environmental, social, and economic impacts of biofuel production, became the first Turkish company to join the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC), which provides 'International Sustainability and Carbon Certification.'

Dr. Pınar Kılınç, Corporate Communications and Sustainability Manager at DB Tarımsal Enerji, who made evaluations on the subject, emphasized their aim of sustainable growth focused on efficient resource utilization and value creation in all areas. She said, "We are progressing with a business model that will contribute to reducing transportation-related carbon emissions, recycling waste, and sustainable agricultural practices with local resources. At every step, we prioritize advancing with the mission of environmental protection and resource conservation."

"We prioritize participation in decision-making processes on a global scale," said Kılınç, expressing their satisfaction at being the first Turkish company to complete the membership process with ISCC. She noted the significance of the membership process in terms of its alignment with global developments and participation in decision-making processes on a global scale. Evaluating various opportunities from raw material procurement to production potential in the biofuel sector in Turkey, Kılınç stated, "In this context, we value our company's alignment with global developments, monitoring of certification processes, and participation in decision-making processes on a global scale. Our company completed the ISCC certification process for biodiesel products for the first time in early 2020 and subsequently added different raw materials and final products to its certification."
