Olive harvest decreases in Eskişehir

Olive harvest has started in Laçin District of Sarıcakaya district. A decrease in olive yield is observed in Eskişehir, as in the rest of the country, depending on the weather temperatures. Erdem Öztürk, who grows olives in Laçin District, stated that they only market black olives as olives due to the low yield. Öztürk, who was able to get approximately 2 tons from 600 trees, stated that it was the worst season in recent years. The price of olives varies between 80 and 160 lira depending on their size.
