Selim Municipality will generate energy to achieve savings

Selim Municipality, under the leadership of AK Party Mayor Coşkun Altun, has implemented a project to generate energy and achieve savings by installing solar panels on the roof of the Textile Building, covering an area of 1,500 square meters.

Having made Selim district in Kars a hub for investments and projects during his two terms in office, Mayor Coşkun Altun is experiencing the joy of bringing another project to life.

With the solar panels installed on the roof of the 1,500-square-meter Textile Building owned by Selim Municipality, Mayor Coşkun Altun aims to generate 330,000 kWh of energy annually, resulting in approximately 1.2 million TL in annual savings for the municipality.

Expressing his satisfaction with the ongoing implementation of projects in Selim, Mayor Coşkun Altun stated, 'Since the day we took office, we have been striving to provide the best services for our district, and thankfully, we have succeeded. We are happy to bring a new project to our district.'

Furthermore, with this implemented project, Mayor Coşkun Altun aims to not only meet the municipality's electricity needs but also achieve cost savings
