In the Sultansuyu Agricultural Enterprise located in the Akçadağ district of Malatya, planting of cereals has begun on a total of 7,500 hectares of land.

The Sultansuyu Agricultural Enterprise, known for its famous Arabian horse breeds in the racing world, also contributes significantly to the economy with cereal cultivation. Wheat harvesting has started on a total of 7,500 hectares of land within the enterprise.

"We expect 3,500 tons of produce"

Hüseyin Öcal, the Director of the Sultansuyu Agricultural Enterprise, noted the commencement of the new season's cereal harvest, stating, "We have started the cereal harvest for the 2023-24 season in our enterprise. First and foremost, I wish the harvest to be auspicious for our institution and our country. We will harvest on approximately 6,000 hectares of barley and 1,500 hectares of oats, totaling 7,500 hectares. We expect to yield around 3,500 tons of produce at the end of the harvest.
