"Our youth will turn to agricultural production with our new project"
Mayor Çolakbayrakdar, visited the neighborhoods of Gömeç, Barsama, Doruklu, Saraycık, and Güneşli over the weekend, where he met with local residents. Encountering significant interest from the residents in each rural neighborhood he visited, Mayor Çolakbayrakdar emphasized their efforts to improve the peace and welfare of the citizens, stating that they are making intensive efforts to make rural neighborhoods attractive centers and change the fate of the region with support and planned construction projects for youth and villages in the new term.
Listening to their demands, Mayor Çolakbayrakdar emphasized the harmony they have established with the citizens through the services provided, stating, "Our rural neighborhoods are those that depend on agriculture, animal husbandry, and farming. To meet the needs of these neighborhoods, we have a department within our municipality called the Rural Services Directorate. Our Rural Services Directorate is a unit that responds to the needs of only these 48 neighborhoods. We are increasing both the budget and technical equipment of our directorate day by day. We want the citizens living in these neighborhoods to live more peacefully with their unique characteristics. In this context, we have fulfilled many requests from our neighborhood so far. In the future, we will continue to meet new demands. Especially, we have prepared projects to strengthen the infrastructure of agricultural production. Agricultural production is increasingly moving away from the youth. Therefore, as Kocasinan Municipality, we will announce a support project for young people under a certain age group to engage in agricultural production, whether through production area support, contract farming, or other alternatives. In the future, we plan to have more agricultural production in our villages. We will also make agricultural infrastructure plans. We will open the way for planned structuring. We will allow settlement in a planned manner so that everyone does not build randomly in the field. Our aim is to further increase the welfare level of our citizens and to improve their living standards."
Mayor Çolakbayrakdar, highlighting that every corner of Kocasinan stands out with its unique characteristics and values, stated, "We are making every effort to protect our local values, introduce them, pass them on to future generations, brand them, and contribute them to the economy. As Kocasinan Municipality, we are making intense efforts to introduce and increase the economic value of our products such as Gömeç Beans, Erkilet Cat Leg, Cırgalan Pepper, Yamula Eggplant, which are our local values. Especially with our work, Gömeç Beans will become worthy of its reputation."
Furthermore, during Mayor Çolakbayrakdar's neighborhood visits, Abdülkadir Güneş, the President of Kocasinan Chamber of Agriculture, Selçuk Melekoğlu, the AK Party Kocasinan District Chairman, and the MHP and AK Party administration accompanied him.
