During the meeting, which took place at the Gediz Youth and Cultural Center, detailed information was provided about the financial support available under the IPARD III program for agriculture and rural development projects. TKDK officials explained the application processes, support criteria, and implementation stages of the program.
Gediz Mayor Necdet Akel, in his speech, stated, "The IPARD III program offers a significant opportunity for our region in the fields of agriculture and rural development. These supports will help our farmers and entrepreneurs realize their projects and boost our local economy."
Vedat Öztürk, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, thanked TKDK Kütahya Provincial Coordinator Dr. Birsen Karaaslan for the IPARD III program promotion and emphasized the importance of continuous education and promotional programs to raise awareness among entrepreneurs about the supports and processes.
Dr. Birsen Karaaslan, TKDK Kütahya Provincial Coordinator, noted that the financial support under the IPARD III program would be provided from the IPARD Program Fund, which is co-financed by the Republic of Turkey. She explained that public contributions will be provided as non-repayable support for investments made under the program. Karaaslan also announced that applications would be accepted from September 16, 2024, at TKDK Provincial Coordination Offices and local contact offices, with the online application system closing on October 18, 2024, at 18:00.
