ÇKS Meeting for Ag Chamber Presidents
A meeting to evaluate the innovations in the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) implementation instructions was held under the leadership of Necmettin Yoldaş, the Director of Agriculture and Forestry in Bilecik, with the participation of Agricultural Chamber Presidents and technical staff.
The meeting, organized at the Agriculture and Forestry Provincial Directorate, was attended by Ahmet Sevinen, the Central Agricultural Chamber President, Süleyman Çaydere, the Bozüyük Agricultural Chamber President, Mehmet Denizli, the Gölpazarı Agricultural Chamber President, Mehmet Demir, the Osmaneli Agricultural Chamber President, Ali Ünal, the Yenipazar Agricultural Chamber President, and Abdullah Duman, the Pazaryeri Agricultural Chamber President.
The changes in the ÇKS implementation instructions, introduced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, aim to register areas where agricultural production is taking place but cannot be registered due to ownership and inheritance issues. According to the innovations, areas where agricultural activities are carried out but cannot be registered due to ownership and inheritance issues can now be registered with a commitment document. This enables producers facing ownership and inheritance issues to benefit from agricultural support. During ÇKS registrations, in cases where the areas allocated to shares are subdivided and leased, the minimum agricultural size requirement specified in the 'Soil Conservation and Land Use Law' will not be applied to areas leased from the treasury.
