In Kırşehir, a citizen cultivated pomegranates in their hobby garden.

Nuri Koç, who grows challenging fruits like pomegranates, figs, and persimmons in his hobby garden due to the climate conditions of the Central Anatolia Region, strives to achieve productivity. With determination and hard work, Koç successfully grows pomegranates and commented, 'We have grown fruits such as pomegranates, figs, and persimmons. These products are difficult to grow due to regional differences. The planted trees started flowering and bearing fruit after reaching maturity. I believe that with effort and dedication, all kinds of products can be grown.'

Ergün Karaaslan noted that some of the planted crops yield significantly, while others do not meet the desired levels of productivity. Efforts to cultivate alternative agricultural products in Kırşehir and increase agricultural diversity in the region are supported under the scientific guidance of Ahi Evran University.
