Fresh trout raised in the icy waters at an altitude of 1,300 meters are offered to customers, while the view of Uludağ enchants visitors.
In the rural Pınarcık neighborhood of Keles district in Bursa, a trout farm is located on the southern slopes of Uludağ. Here, trout are raised in icy waters. While the city center experiences temperatures of up to 37°C during the summer months, the temperature in Pınarcık Mahallesi, where the trout farm is situated, remains around 20°C even at noon. At the facility, trout raised in the ponds are caught live upon customer order, cooked in a stone oven, and served to guests.
A Cool Escape from the City's Heat
Ahmet Aslan, a customer representative, notes that those who are exhausted by the city's sweltering heat come to the trout farm to cool off. He explains, "This place is located in Pınarcık Mahallesi, Keles district of Bursa, at an altitude of about 1,300 meters. It is a very cool place, a peaceful environment where we come with our family and enjoy a meal. Everything is prepared right next to you here. The fish are taken live from the pond, processed, and then served to the guests. The prices are also very economical. It is a maximum of a 30-minute drive from Bursa. While we are roasting in the heat of the city, we can come here in 30 minutes and enjoy a cooler environment. We have had guests from Istanbul as well. Visitors who come to explore the largest plateau in Marmara, Kocayayla, and Keles, can enjoy the freshness and coolness here at an economical price. Besides trout, the menu also includes meatballs and culture mushrooms grown in greenhouses unique to Keles. You can even just order mushrooms. Vegetarian guests will not go hungry here. It’s a place that’s far from the city but close to it. You can see the southern slopes of Uludağ from here. While your children interact with the soil, you can enjoy your meal in peace.”
