Small livestock for sacrificial animals are awaiting customers in Afyonkarahisar

In Şuhut district, known for having one of Afyonkarahisar's largest animal markets, small livestock for sacrificial animals are being displayed as the days leading up to the holiday of Eid approach, increasing activity in the market. There has been a noticeable uptick in shopping for small livestock ahead of Eid at the live animal market in Şuhut. Visitors from all corners of the city have shown greater interest in the market this week. It was noted that a small livestock weighing around 50 kilograms typically finds buyers for an average price between 10,000 to 11,000 Turkish Lira.

Ramazan Karakuş, a seller of small livestock, mentioned that the live weight price of small livestock is around 210 Turkish Lira per kilogram, stating, "We are thankful, we work hard to breed them. We bring our raised animals here to sell. Today, the market has been a bit slow. We have fewer foreign customers today. Our prices range between 205 and 210 lira per live kilogram. On average, we find buyers at 205 TL."

It was also noted that sales will continue in the market on the eve of Eid.
