In fruit trees, necessary disease and pest controls have been ensured

In Bilecik, disease and pest detection have been carried out in fruit trees. Technical teams affiliated with the Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry conducted disease and pest assessments, as well as trap installations and controls in walnut, vineyard, olive, and cherry orchards located in villages belonging to Central and Gölpazarı districts.

Following changes in weather conditions and hailstorms, damaged areas in fruit tree fields were identified during inspections, and efforts to rehabilitate these areas were announced. Additionally, technical teams under the Agriculture and Forestry Directorate informed farmers about the necessity of proper care practices.
